Captor 5gal Calcium Thiosulfate
Captor 5gal Calcium Thiosulfate
SKU:CAPTOR5
Captor - 5 Gallon Calcium Thiosulfate Non-hazardous dechlorinating liquid. NSF approved Captor is perfect for dechlorinating newly installed water mains with higher chlorine residuals. NSF approved for contact with potable water systems. Non-hazardous, ready-to-use formulation with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 and little or no odor.
How much to use?
For every 1 million gallons of water with a 7.0 pH and a 50 ppm chlorine residual, it takes roughly 250 gallons of Captor to completely remove the chlorine. Whether you're flushing a newly installed water main or just doing routine seasonal hydrant flushing, Captor will work for you.
Captor is available in 5, 15, 30 or 55 gallon containers.
To determine quantity of water to be dechlorinated - pipe size squared x .0408 = gallon per linear foot. Then multiply that result x overall length of pipe = total gallons. Combined with chlorine (parts per million) content we can calculate amount of Captor you will need to complete your project.
Associated Product:
- D-Chlor Tablets
5 Star Diffuser Hitch & Hose
